Wonky Dick IPA

Front View of the Wonky Dick IPA
After requesting a taster online last week, my dear friend Brendan has sent me down a sample of his home-brew IPA. Somehow it miraculously survived the 1525km journey by road down to Kingsley and into my glass (then belly)

Rear view.
I gave it a day in the fridge to cool down and decided this afternoon to finally give this beer a try. Decided it would only be right to drink it from a glass and also try to give Brendan some feedback.

Initial observations were that it had a small head which quickly dissipated but a constant carbonation had bubbles coming to the surface throughout. It was a murky golden, amber colour and had a soft fruity aroma with just a hint of honey.

Beer out the back...
First sip and i immediately noticed a forward malty taste, slightly bitter, but left me with a soft fruity aftertaste that i couldn't quite distinguish. Nicely balanced, medium bodied in the mouth. Crisp and dry but very refreshing.
Easy Drinking.

Looking forward to drinking this from the tap when i eventually visit these guys!
Thanks Brendan, glad you sent me a beer! next ones on me!!
